These are really one and the same thing. However more people feel able to cope with the idea of a spanking than being beaten with an implement.

Others just find the whole idea of being firmly pinned down over my knee, having their pants or panties pulled down, and feeling the hard slap of my open palm descending on their bare buttocks, irresistible.

Some people like to combine CP with a roie play. They are being spanked by the headmistress, their strict aunt, or the boss. All these are fun to do.

A school role play can include being dragged along by the ear, being made to stand in the corner, being bent over a desk for punishment. Naughty boys can be given lines to complete prior to reporting to my study.

Strict aunty scenes have a number of different variations. The nephew might have been caught going through aunties used undies (the nephew can be gagged with these if appropriate as part of his punishment), or has been caught trying on her panties, or maybe he has borrowed her car without permission, or perhaps she has found him masturbating over a dirty magazine.

The female boss – that is an excellent role play as well (and very popular). The naughty employee has been told to report to his boss for discipline, he may have been slacking or pestering women at work. Often there is a sub theme, the boss secretly wants to play with him and has been looking for an excuse to get him into her clutches.

The role play can be done in a domestic (sitting room) environment or a dungeon one. The dungeon one is where he’s been told to report to his boss’s home after work. When he gets there he finds a fully equipped dungeon and many frightening CP implements. He’s informed that unless he accepts a beating he will be fired.

Some people like the idea of spanking but really can’t take very much. However I can beat people so that it sounds very noisy and frightening but actually doesn’t hurt at all.

Not all CP involves role play, some people like to interact directly with the dom (rather than have her acting a role). They are submitting to her wishes by receiving a beating.

Other people who are into CP are into it mostly for the sensation. They will sometimes select the implements that they wish to have used on them. Some like to have the CP combined with an element of domination, others don’t really want to be dominated at all. The second sort are often switches, they come to me for a beating but in their private lives may be dominating someone else.

For some people marks are an issue. They may love to be beaten but can’t be marked. Marks can be reduced by using a wet towel across the buttocks. Another method of reducing marks is to suspend your victim on his back with his legs in the air and then beat him with a light and stingy cane on the crease of the buttocks (just where it joins with the thighs) This has three advantages, it delivers the degree of pain that hard CP enthusiasts crave, any marks are hidden once they stand up and the left buttock gets the benefit of the tip of the cane.

Let me explain. Usually when someone is caned the caning is delivered with them secured face down over something like a whipping bench. Most people are right handed so the dom will usually stand on their left hand side, holding the cane in her right hand. The fastest moving part of the cane is the tip, so their right buttock get used to receiving a much harder beating than their left one (even if she is standing correctly so that the cane lands across both buttocks equally)

So an upside down position is also useful for those who have been beaten so hard and so often that they think they can tolerate anything you care to deliver.

On the subject of marks, it is nice when you can mark people. There is a great deal of pleasure to be had from looking at a nice even line of welts delivered from as hard caning.

My favourite cane is a dragon, they are just so lovely to use.

Single tail whips – I have a sjambok (pronounced shambock) that I like to use, They are ideal for dungeons as usually there is not enough space for anything longer.

One person who visits me from time to time finds the word ‘sjambok’ so exciting that he is liable to have an orgasm when you say it. On which lines there are people who will orgasm from receiving a beating, though they are rare.
